Photography Is Key

My daughter was so excited by her participation in a photo shoot she insisted that I post another image of her. This is an image taken in Yellow Springs by Tori Keys. Great job Tori.

Got Work?

It appears that Mr. Cooley enjoyed his moment in the 'light'. He is available for modeling jobs, just have your people call his people.

Echo

The mission (If I decided to accept it) is to shoot documentary fashion photography. This purpose of this photo session is to shoot the model with special emphasis on the clothing in a way that will persuade the viewer to purchase the clothing. I have nine potential images but only need two. I will post the nine over the next few days, you can help me decide by posting your comments.

The Cheerleader

The football season for the peewee league is winding down, but not without the Rams advancing to the championships with zero loses. This is a shot of my daughter heading to the game.

Making Strides

The "Walk For The Cure" annual event held on October 18, 2008 brought out a huge crowd of survivors as well as supporters. The Wright State University cheering squad and mascot was also on site cheering in the walkers as the reached the halfway point. It is great to see people come together to lend their support for a common goal; however, it is unfortunate that this disease affects so many of our loved ones. We will continue to support the cause until a cure is found. Here are a few images from this event. The image above is my favorite.

Victoria Secret

Today I will be participating in "The Walk For The Cure" in memory of my mom. My mom suffered from Leukemia for 10 years and lost her battle on March 12, 2007. As you know the emphasis on "The Walk For The Cure" is breast cancer; however, cancer of any kind robs us of our loved ones too soon which is why I will support any area that will lead to a cure. One of the sponsor's in my city is Victoria Secret of which my brother-in-law is a computer programmer. Naturally I will be taking pictures during the walk and will post them as soon as I can. In the meantime I thought I would post one of their products that I recently shot. For all those waiting on the cure or know someone that is, you have my support and prayers.

Dr. Keys

Please let me introduce to you the very lovely Dr. Keys. At school in my fashion class we were given an assignment to photograph a model with emphasis on the hair, makeup, or skin. Dr. Keys is a very free spirited all nat-u-ral type of woman, so naturally the focus here is on her beautiful skin. She is not only a great model, but also a fellow photographer and good friend.

Moving Ahead

I certainly enjoyed the time I spent in Yellow Springs, these are the final two images. The first was painted by Sarah Dickens, the second by Pierre Nagely.

The Other Side

Opportunity, whether good or bad, is and will always be on the other side waiting. It's up to you which door you choose.

I LOVE THIS MAN!!

His name is A.J - Mr. Jackson if you're nasty ;~) Just a little dry humor...Mrs. Keys this is not the man you have been waiting to see, but I hope you like him as much as I do. Not to worry Tam, I don't like him nearly as much as I like you. For everyone else - just experimenting with macro.

Natural Beauty

Well the new quarter has begun and naturally we have our first assignment. The subject matter was our choice, these are two of the images I will turn in.

The Day After

Beginning my journey on this very early morning with the overcast, morning dew, peace and serenity lead the way for a perfect opportunity to reflect on the events of the day before.

Setting Sail

While in Monroe Michigan at the harbor I was able to capture a few boats between shots of the seagulls, swans and ducks.
