Am I my brothers keeper...
The tomb of the "Unknown Soldier" in Arlington National Cemetery has been guarded 24 hours a day every day since 1930. Each guard is a volunteer, but before the soldier is allowed to "walk" he must memorize seven pages of history on Arlington National Cemetery and then recite it verbatim. They can't drink or smoke for life, they must live in the barracks under the tomb, but The requirements don't stop there, and I won't list them all here. This is such an honor for these soldiers and it was an honor for me to witness their loyalty and dedication.
